It’s what’s INSIDE that counts.

I suggest you listen to Jack Johnson - “Posters” or “sexy plexi”. Anyway.. Looks always means something to human beings when they meet a potential guy or girl, but one doesn’t mean one has to be stunning, but one can’t deny the facts. The confidence part is very interesting. The way i figure, confidence is an evil circle. If I let myself down because I think there is something which is not good enough about myself, my confidence will go down. People without confidence are harder to communicate with, so maybe you should work on your confidence instead of your looks. All guys like a girl with a smile in her face. ;)

Of course one shouldn’t lean towards plastic surgery if one doesn’t feel it is absolutely necessary, but don’t say it’s necessarily something morally wrong about plastic surgery. Angel, i don’t think guys are all about looks. Serious guys look for a lot more than just looks.

No pretty girls aren’t happier
Pretty girls aren’t treated bettter by guys
Guys go with them for their looks, nothing more, how do you think that makes someone feel?
Being happy isn’t about the way we look
Being pretty doesn’t make you confident
confidence is harder to have & to keep hold of & it only takes a few ar5e holes to make the pretty girl unhappy, insecure & lacking in confidence

no they arent……everyone tells me i look like angelina jolie n im miserable!
im sure it does affect the way people treat me but not that much and not in important ways…i would rather look like a troll n b happy given d choice!

If u wanna impress a guy, change your looks and look different. Even the ugliest girl looks pretty to a guy, when she’s different from the lot. I strongly recommend you to update your wardrobe and look different. And i differently wouldn’t date girls with plastic surgery, even if she’s beautiful… trust me, I’m a guy i know what i want……^_^

and also 9/10 plastic surgery wont give the results you were hoping for

to be fair megan fox was stunning before her surgery anyway

and as a doctor i tell you, there’s no plastic surgery that can fix low self-esteem

dumb guys are interested in looks well…….because they’re dumb

Ok ill start off by saying - no, pretty girls are not always happier.

Some of the replies ive read so far have some elements of truth in them - but this truth is coming from that person’s point of view. As a result people are interpreting a “pretty girl” to be some dumb blonde, or a girl who knows she is pretty but wants certain things in life, or those girls who ARE pretty, but they are modest enough to not admit it etc etc.

Looks are only one of the factors affecting happiness. Generally, happiness is a mental state of mind, and so is determined by the person’s mentality overall (dunno if that makes sense). Basically if you THINK you are happy, your more likely to be happy (something along the lines of that).

That is only because people are constantly judging books by their cover. If you were to meet a new person, whats the first thing that you’ll notice? Their appearance. This i say is true for almost every single person (except the blind - no offense there to blind people). Yes it doesnt sound fair - its just how things work. Since appearance is one of the first thing’s we will see of a new person, their appearance will therefore lead to some sort of judgement on what the person is like.

And usually from wat i know, most guys think that pretty girls are nice and fun girls to hang around etc.

And what D.N.A has said in the reply above actually is quite true. Pretty girls tend to have more self esteem, especially if they know theyre pretty, which generally leads to more confidence, leading to feeling more happy.
