I guess the real question is what does it take to become a celebrity? what defines them? there are those who actively seek fame (e.g. actors, musicians, news people, etc) there are those who know that what they do will bring them fame e.g. politicians, athletes, etc, and then there are those who are celebrities through no fault of their own. just look at “you tube”. the first, I believe knew what they were getting into (or at least should have) but those who never wanted to be known should be given their space.
in my own opinion.

I think it totally depends on the celebrity.
Some become a celebrity for fame and parties and stuff. Some because they’re THAT good, some are just lucky.
It’s also not a matter of “who deserves and who doesn’t”, privacy is a right, it doesn’t has to be deserved, it’s something that every person has legally. But what that person does with his own privacy, that’s a different thing.

some celebrities became celebrities only because they sold their privacy to the media for fame. other celebrities became famous because of actual talent and presence.
