Why do some employers get away with bullying?
The old boys(now forming into Girls) network holds true even today. In such cases if all appropriate steps are taken safe guard an employees integrity i.e. logging all incidents, reporting incidents to HR/Union, Industrial tribunals then the individual should feel confident that they have done everything in their power to rectify the situation.
If the collective work force would stand up and be counted in such scenarios to add weight to the case, the big cheese employers would not stand a chance, but alas it would appear it is every man for himself in such things.
