No. Its never too late to start gain. Cliched but true. Jst think you can skip all the awkwardness of teendome and skip to the good stuff. Practice. Be patient with your self. Start small. Start with evening classes, or a sport, or volunteering. Start just having conversations with people. Dont put pressure on yourself just enjoy having conversations - start with small talk and build. Concentrate on them. What makes them interesting to you? The questions and convo will flow easily with practise. Once you got he hang of this - start building friendships - meet acquaintances for coffee- drinks etc. Then build on this. Before you know it you have friends. Build friendships, make sure they’re balanced - with good people who enrich your life and build from there.
