I think you should talk to your doctor about this kind of stuff. If you don’t have one or can’t afford one, try contacting a Planned Parenthood clinic that is near you. They give good advice and often the cost is minimal if you have no health insurance.

Well purepowder, weight gain and moodswings is perfectly normal for birth control patients. I am a First Aid and CPR Certified Registered nurse and I believe the best birth control for you would be a vaginal ring, but it is not recommended for people that have ulcers or vaginal irritation but in your problem up above you did not state any vaginal irritation. Now the NuvaRing avoids moodswings and weight gain, but as in every medication there is side effects. The NuvaRing is easy to use it is just inserted into the vaginal area 5 days of the onset of menstrual period. Just ask your family doctor about Etonogestrel/ethinyl estradiol aka the NuvaRing. Hope I was help.

Thanks, I’ll have to check that out. The main problem is my cycle. I dont get my period every 28 days , in fact sometimes I miss it for 3 months, 4 or 5. It’s been the same way since I was 14. I’ve gone to my Ob/gyn and she put me on Estrostep. She had to put me on Provera to make me get my period within the next 10 days.

Talk to a doctor, or read the label on the box to see what it says but for right now i’d stop using it then ask your doctor about it. that would be the best thing to do.

I have taken estrop step Fe to control my cycle when ever it gets out of wack. It worked great for me. No cramps, no weight gain, no moods swings or nothing.
