im not sure but i found this on the internet

THE formation and decomposition of a higher hydrogen peroxide H2O4 has been described in recent Russian literature. Much of this work dealt with the existence of condensed HO2 radicals or molecular H2O4 at low temperatures ; for example, Kobozev et al., Reznitskii et al., and Gorbanev1 investigated the reaction between atomic hydrogen and liquid ozone at -196°C. Calorimetric and electron spin resonance measurements are quoted as evidence for the existence of hydrogen superoxide H2O4 which decomposes spontaneously at -115°C. into hydrogen peroxide and oxygen.

What level are you at in education terms? That could determine the answer they’re looking for

H2O4 is commonly a joke, but it’s been researched to be a superoxidizer, a higher level hydrogen peroxide.

Yeah like if you’re just looking to name it, it would be called ‘hydrogen superoxide’

..now where did I put my nerd glasses..

Is that like..secondary school?
Coz I can’t imagine they’d be looking for anything crazy complicated..either they meant it as a joke or they’re just looking for the name, hydrogen superoxide.
I’d be interested to find out the answer so let me know when you find out if you can :)

no…because the valencies dont really add up.
H

O water

H H-O-O-O-O-H h2o4. ok so they do, but it doesn’t make sense as a molecule. it is unstable. so it can only exist in a vacuum (with the exception of the molecule itself) because it would like react or something.

you are more likely to find O (x2) + H-H

O

h2so4 is an acid because it is hydrogen+oxygen+non-metal. and alkali is hydrogen+metal
