Strange, sudden vegetarianism…
I’m not entirely sure what happened, but since about a month ago, I have found meat completely revolting. Well, I guess it isn’t that strange considering that- HELLO it’s dead flesh! I can’t eat it, I can’t touch it, I can’t even look at it. (I am the one that does most of the cooking in my house, so you can probably see how this is a problem.) Of course I’ve known what meat was for a long time, but I had no difficulty eating/cooking it before. But it’s just that something in me suddenly changed. I feel sick at the mere mention of meat.
I’m not really sure what to do. I don’t want to seem like a spoiled and picky for not cooking that stuff for them, but I just can’t do it anymore.
It has been absolutely no problem to avoid meat for me for some reason. I mean I’ve actually been turning down my what used to be my favorite foods, while they are right in front of my face! It’s so easy, I can’t even believe it!
I think there may be something wrong with me…but I’m not sure… I think it’s great on my conscious that I can’t eat meat anymore, but I’m thinking that the suddenness and ease of this isn’t normal at all…
