I’ve met a lot of people here who genuinely want to help others. I commend there efforts. My effort have seemed to be shattered by people who want to be a trolls. They don’t care to help others and they are self absorbed. They think the Earth sprung up just because they exist. I feel sorry for you. I have no problem with the person and I could careless what he or she thinks about me. What I don’t get is how moderators can make decision based of their onesidedness. All I asked was to take GOD out of the post especially if you aren’t even talking about GOD in a manner that is appropriate. I don’t think that was too much to ask. I would swallow my pride if I offended you and I would fix my wrongs, but you are self absorbed and therefore think you are never wrong. You use your moderator powers to stay firm on your biased way of thinking. Personally I think that’s why you aren’t much help here anyways. Further more I believe you are not even here to help others. Keep running people away from the site, as well as others in the past, who were way more helpful than any of you. That will keep your site going (sarcasm). I’m suprised it’s not already shut down. Anyhow this is my opinion and while I may not have control over this site. I could create a site that prevents moderators from breaking rules, but still punish others for there behavior. You lead by example.

I only asked if she would take Gods name out of her post because it doesn’t benefit the post in anyway. If it was taken out you would still get the idea she’s explaining to you. I also asked other moderators and they denied.
Does anyone else back up why I’m offended or am I being overly sensitive?

I don’t see anything wrong with her post. Simply saying “God” in such contexts is not considered offensive by most people…I don’t find any real reason for her to edit the post — I don’t see anything that violates the Terms of Use.

.
Ditto.
It is defenitely what it suggests. I don’t feel I have to write what her first post read and when she changed it she just changed da**ed to to darned ~~~You can figure this out, I hope. I see that most people would take her side because they don’t want to be on the bad side of the moderators or other moderators. Good luck having moderators like these. In most site mods are suppose to be mods and are suppose to be more professional. Anyhow keep thinking this is appropriate because it is far from that. Keep letting people cuss God. You are going to have many more people who are like that flooding the site because if it’s okay for one it’s okay for all. Personally I don’t want to have to see such immaturity. It’s demeaning to the site.
I understand your position - I cringe whenever I hear people use the Lords name in vain, and my friends know this so they don’t do that while I’m around them, it’s really refreshing. At the same time though, people are free to say what they will, citing that whole, crazy, Freedom of Speech thing (pause to laugh). Personally, I believe the US takes that too far, which is why I’m pleased to be a Canadian. An example was that the Westboro Baptist Church was going to come up here and protest a The Leramie Project (Google that, it’s tragic). Thankfully, we have our anti-hate speech laws.
This isn’t exactly the case with the poster you mentioned (not even close), but your position is understood none the less.
bobosnickums closed this post: If you have an issue with a moderator or user, take it up with other moderators. making posts about specific users is against the TOU which you agreed to abide by when you joined this site. This matter has already been dealt with. Not everyone here believes as you do, and you need to accept that.
