Message help: I have an android phone, and I keep getting a message at the top telling me my text message (from 2 weeks ago) has not been sent. - Help.com

I have an android phone, and I keep getting a message at the top telling me my text message (from 2 weeks ago) has not been sent.

I touch it and it says message not available. I clear out the notification screen, but when I use my text it comes back. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It is really annoying.

Try deleting ALL of your text messages, or restarting your phone.

I have tried deleting my messages. Do you mean taking out the battery? I have had this phone for about 3 weeks,so it is relatively new to me.

Yea, turn it off, take the battery out, and let it sit for a few minutes. Then reinsert the battery, and restart it.
