Hi, I’m a 22 year old girl, with a typical pear shape body… kinda hourglassy, but more pear shaped… I mean, my shoulders are the same width as my hips, but my breasts are small compared to my thighs. I have the small waist and all, although trust me, it can be a lot smaller, so much that I think it’s kinda freaky.
Anyway, I’ve been working out twice a day since Monday, naturally I won’t be seeing results for a while. But I wonder if this is enough. I do 30 min jumping rope in the morning, and 30 min elliptical in the evening. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I also do some bodyweight circuits, short ones, which I focus on compound exercises for legs, glutes, abs and arms.
My diet could be better, but I live with my mom and she takes it personally if I don’t eat the stuff she makes. And we usually eat healthily, usually chicken, salad, beans… the problem is I have insulin resistance, so anything that has sugar or processed carbs are bad for me, but other types of food are more expensive.
I’m of normal weight, I’m not really hoping to lose weight to be skinny, I want to lose the fat, and gain muscle. I don’t care much about the number on the scale. Oh, I’m not in the northern hemisphere, so we’re just coming out of summer, so I have roughly 8 months to achieve a slim, toned body. I’m 5′6″ish, around 138 lbs.
However I’m really concerned about my thighs… they’re really fatty, and I have cellulite, I want to know if it’s realistic to expect less cellulite and muscular looking thighs. I can feel my muscles are quite developed, especially my thighs, but they’re covered by fat! I also wish to know if I can realistically make my butt look firmer, rounder and a bit bigger.
