Other animal lovers out there…

So this isn’t really in regards to help, but something that puts a smile on my face are all of the animals I get to see on a daily basis on my commute to work, way to the mall, etc.

I see cows, horses, deer, sea gulls, geese, and all other sorts of birds, oppossums and turkey vultures (yuck and yuck!), squirrels, lots of fish, especially in the summer, the occasional dolphin…

I know we’re a community that is from all over the world. This is what I see in a small county in New Jersey, USA.

Where are you from, and what do you get to see?

California…not much to see here, sadly.
There’s a ton of sea gulls, especially on my school yard. And I see squirrels, cats, ladybugs, the occasional lizard, way too many humans…
I did once see this giant iguana-type thing on the sidewalk on the way to the library…I didn’t understand. O_O

I am in Florida, USA. I dont see nearly as many animals as when I lived in NH or MA.. I miss it :(

But here in FL I see alligators, turtles, black racers, squirrells, cows, raccoons, dolphins, I’ve actually even seen a manatee in the wild too! super exciting :) [I saw it swimming with dolphins], Swans, cranes, many other birds.. Hmm.. I think thats about it.

SoCal, lots of crows, and I’ve seen a couple of wild dolphins before. There have been a few whales in Coronado bay, although I haven’t seen any of them. If you count The Wild Animal Park, The San Diego Zoo and Sea World, then I’ve seen pretty much any animal you can think of, lol.

I get to see a lot of horses, cows and deer. Always birds. It’s pretty cool! Also elpackas, sheep, llamas, oxen, bulls with big beautiful horns, and… sometimes squirrels, skunks, porcupines, and prong horns. And hawks! Also once I almost hit a frog crossing the road. It was kind funny, lolz.

Oh yeah! There are a couple of camel and ostrich farms too. Those are interesting to see while driving down the road.

Excuse me, you live in England!!! It’s unbelieveable that sooooooooooo many British people have no idea how much wildlife there is in England.
For example : Deer, rabbits, foxes, snakes, lizards, badgers, otters, tonnes of different types of mice, frogs, newts, and so many types of birds you wouldn’t believe how many!! Swans, red kites, buzzards, robins, owls, sparrows… the list is endless!! Next time you say that there is no wildlife where you live, please think twice.
