No, but I have nothing against people who do. It’s an individual choice.
But I do have a diploma in RE as I find religions really interesting
so many ppl all over the world who don’t! is that good? wondering sumtimes
I do [but not in the conventional sense] - more of a panentheist

I think it’s good to have a mix of people with all different beliefs. Makes the world a more interesting place.
plus, it’s pretty random, but i like it when people take the time to try to show you why they believe, even if they are really trying to convert me. I even like JW’s lol. I just dont like the real hardcore, shove it down your neck stuff
I don’t need anything like a god. So I do not think he is part of reality.

what if ‘he’ exists?
if there is a god, just one god, then im sure he/she would simply be proud that we make up our own minds about such things as beliefs. Like perents are proud of us when we make our own decisions in life, right or wrong

What if he does not exist?
If he exists, then he is part of reality. If he is part of reality there is a way he’d manifest. But he does not. Also none of the things god is ascribed to be doing is either possible, or part of reality. I am therefore not troubled by doubt. Because I don’t see the use of his possible existence at all. I’m happy the way I am, and can do and understand everything without the concept of any deity.
yes, why do you ask?
i don’t know. I always say there’s not a god! and my parents say: “yeah that’s why you are ill every week.” i’m allergic of dust and they think that it’s my fault coz i do not believe on ‘him’ :/ and i don’t think this is true…
You are correct, you are ill because there is something wrong with your body.
Haha, ow your parents are mean. No dust allergies are really annoying. But have nothing to do with god. Clean your sheets every week, keep you room tidy, and vacuum every week. Also exercise plenty, a healthy body always works.

so your parents believe in God and they believe allergies are a punishment?
Wow, that is rough. I believe in God and know that some people think illness is a punishment..but there is a very old book in the bible..the book of job …where a man has lots of bad things happen to him, illness, death of family, loses all his money….lots of people (who probably meant well) told him it must be his fault..either he sinned or god was mad at him…..but the end of the book says sometimes stuff just happens and we won’t know why.
So i don’t think you are sick because of God. I do think an antihistamine might help your allergies…do your parents believe in doctors? do they take you to get help for your allergies?
I don’t really believe in the theories that have come up on him or it, especially the ones involving praising and worship. But I do think theres some mystical force about, somewhere.

your parents may just hope you share the same belief in God that they have and are trying to use your allergies to spur you to believe. I think each person has to find God or not for themselves. I think it is very human to want to find causes for things and when people don’t want to deal with our discomfort they often blame us…so maybe we will go away.
I hope you get to feeling better. I don’t think God is punishing you with allergies.
thankss :)
i have a friend, 7 yrs old and she is blind! she became blind when she was 1…she had a surgery and doctors did something wrong, and now she can not see!
if you could meet her and see how smart she is, how cute and pretty!
–>and i ask my parents: “why is she blind, she did something bad and god did that to her. she’s just an angel and could never hurt somebody.”
i cried when i first met her :/ she took my hand and tried to show me her room and her house, it was so kind from her but i felt so sorry about her…

you have a sensitive heart. i think the most difficult thing in life…is that bad stuff happens. we don’t know why.
when caterpillars form a cocoon and emerge days later…the butterfly struggles against the cocooon. it might take hours or days for their struggle to finally be over. some people have discovered that if we try to help the butterfly by removing the struggle and freeing them from the cocooon…their wings are never strong enough for them to be able to fly. You see the struggle makes them stronger. So we don’t always know why things happen…but we can decide how we respond to them.
I was going to say hell no but that would be too cheesy. So I’ll say just no.
I’d give my eyes for her. she is so young! i’ve seen a lot of things in this world, but she hasn’t. i’ve seen lots of Bad & good things. It’s not just my friend who suffer, there are ppl from all over the world with problems. ppl who don’t have water or food or a house to live! ppl that can not walk, see, hear, or speak :( that’s ugly. The problem is that we can not help them. I wish i could!!! :/

there are troubles everywhere. the thing is that we can help.
I use this rule as a guide. Can the person do for themselves. if not, then if i can I help. I might offer a cup of tea and a listening ear. I might sew them some clothes or share what food i have. I cannot help everyone on earth. But I can help those whose lives intertwine with mine. I tutor english language learners after school - helping them understand their homework. I volunteer at my church. I look for people on help.com
The thing is … your blind friend may not need much help…other than a ride to places when they get older. You know what you would miss if you didn’t have sight…but you don’t know what you would gain if you didn’t have sight.
I believe in a god. god doesn’t intervene in our daily lives. he let nature and time run it’s course.
