Underfloor heating!

!!
Wow I know this is exciting topic but I need help to get my mum off my back. Two years ago we had some UFH put in our bathroom and we never sorted an electrician till now. Well something (some sort of thermostat) hasn’t been put under the floor tiles. So the electrician we have finally got in said if we lift up the tiles we are likely to damage the UFH. Is this true?? is it very sensitive stuff. I’ve bored myself asking but please does anyone know. Thanks
