I really Need help dealing with what is happening now.

My sister-like kid that i baby-sit for and acts just like a little sister to me is in the hospital. She is diangosed with Influenzea type A and also has pneumonia. I am so Scared for her. I love her so much. She is 8 years old and 3 other kids from my state had died already from this deadly disese, But now she is in the ICU and is barley hangging on. She could get through this and I really hope that she does. .Her brothers are 12 and 2 and are staying with my family till the mom and dad come home from the hospital. I just don’t know how to deal with this. This little girl is so helpless and needs prayers and I need some emotional strength to get through this. Someboby please give me some help and advice on how to deal with this. I am extremely scared that she is going to die. Please. and thank you for helping me>!!! She is such a good little friend that I always hang with even though she is only in the second grade.

there is no way for anyone to tell you how to get through this. be strong for her though. dont think about whats going to happen until it does. the stronger everyone is for her the better chance she has to pull through this. if you emotionally help her fight she will hold on that much longer and it might be the strength she needs. so just think about her and helping her, to help her you need to show her that you are strong. think about how brave she is to go through this and remember that its the weakness in you that shows you care. if you didnt care as much as you did she may not still be hangin on…best wishes i hope she has a full recovery.

Thank you all for your concerns and prayers I really do appriciate it. I too have been praying like crazy for her and her brother (12) i think is dealing with it better than I. but then again I just hope that she will pull through.

I also will pray for her and her family and for you. I’m on 2 prayer teams so I will ask all of them to pray for her as well. I will make a request for the Claretians to light a candle at the shrine of St. Jude and to pray for a miracle for her.

Pray Pray Pray!!! : ) I will too. Just remember what happens is how God wants it too happen. If she dies (i hope she doesn’t, she sounds sweet) just remember all the good times you had with her. If she lives, pray, and be happy! I hope the best comes out into all of this…: )))))

Update: I don’t think that she has influenza now it might of been a mis understanding. But she is still very sick, and i really appreciate your support.

i prayer for you and her completely. i no what it feels like to go through that kinda stuff and to be afraid but; you have to hold on to her spirit and soul for her like climbin a huge rocky steep mountain with only a measley rope- and if you believe that you can get through that tough spot when you want to lose hope you just climb further till you get to the top.
