we had our jurisdiction hearing today concerning whether or not they could legally take our children.

it was found that the county who took the children did not have jurisdiction over them and so they were released. however the county that does have jurisdiction immediately took custody of the children. the woman that served the petition to my spouses lawyer said as we were leaving that she would have to read over all the papers tonight. meaning she didn’t know what the case was about before she petitioned to remove the children. the good news is we don’t have to deal with the lying hateful workers in our county anymore which is good because they tried getting my bond revoked by lying and saying my children lived with me. i have supervised visits but have in no way had any contact with our eldest child who is the alleged victim and for them to say that they were all living with me would revoke my bond and hurt my criminal case. they had no proof and had some documents where my spouse wrote down my address and tried to claim my spouse was saying they lived with me by just putting my address… it was stupid but the judge saw through it and here we are. hopefully the new county will be willing to hear us out and see that every last petition they put as reason to remove the children were in fact made up. i’m not just saying that either, they literally made up reasons to take the kids and the reasons they have really pose the question, are these even reasons to take children? any questions let me know, we and especially I have never shied away from the case or questions people may have because this entire fiasco stemmed from allegations that were already dismissed as fictional and we have nothing to hide. and PLEASE if anyone is facing Child Protective Services get a lawyer and fight every single thing they do. never willingly agree with anything they want, any deal they make isn’t and was never intended to be in your benefit. if the defense you have suggests that you work with them and that they are doing whats best then get a new lawyer because yours is working both sides. know your rights because they WILL violate them. all parties in the case today, defense, cps and judge stated that cps is a police state service. at least they admit it i suppose.
