Alright, just a quick thought!

(Mindless rant)

When I look at things, I see dots. Millions of tiny dots, flying around, everywhere. On people, inanimate objects, animals, behind my closed eyelids, everything.

It’s been happening for as long as I can remember, and the Dots are so much apart of me, I can’t believe everybody doesn’t see them. I find it impossible no one but I can see them.

The best way to describe the Dots would be static on a television. They don’t hinder my vision at all, and they’re not ‘floaters’. In fact, I love my Dots. Sometimes they’re only black and white, and other times they’re a rainbow hue of colors. They’re too much apart of my life for me not to notice them.

My brother says I’m dehydrated, but seriously, I see them ALL THE TIME 24/7/365. My friends think I have astigmatism, but my eyes are 20/20, for the most part, and shouldn’t something drastic have happened by now if it were?

Lately, it’s not only the Dots I’ve been seeing. The Dots are more in-your-face then they used to be, and now I see what I’ve dubbed to be Glitter. Like fairy dust. I can follow them with my eyes, look straight at them, so they’re not ‘floaters’. They’re pretty, all silver, and appear at the most random times. Like in bursts of seven or a single one at a time. They’re rare, but they happen.

I really CANT believe NO ONE ELSE can see them. How could you not? I think maybe others are so used to seeing them, they don’t know they’re there, like with the smell of perfume; you get used to it.

I need a truthful answer, does anybody else see the Dots or Glitter?

How can you ignore them? They’re so beautiful. To me, anyway.

Un, not entirely. Mine change colors all the time, and seem to make a net around everything, like they’re keeping something in, or out. Not a pattern, just a sort of wall around everything and everyone.
They’d spiral towards you? Did it seem ominous?
I see mine best in the dark. What happened with you?

I would get your eyes checked just in case but it sounds like orbs.. which is what I think I have. I ignore them because my parents started thinking it was a really big deal and well.. they kinda freaked out.
So I pretended they stopped.

Nun, I already had my eyes checked. My Mom knows, but she thinks I’m lying, so I just don’t talk about it. My Dad thinks I’m seeing Ghosts… :T
What are orbs?
Can you actually block them?

GOOGLE! THE GOD AND JESUS OF INTERNET.
I’ve thought this too, but the Dots are crazy scattered, the same color never touching. I’ve read about it, though, and if that were the simplist answer, I’d love for that to be it.
It makes a whole lot more sense than my Dad’s explanation. I got so caught up in his theory I started to talking to the Dots, feeling commitable the entire time. :)

You can have an astigmatism and 20/20 vision… I do. But, it is not an astigmatism. An astigmatism is when its blurry because your eye is shaped wrong. I would see a doctor, that is not normal.

The Dots don’t talk back, but they make me feel like I’m not alone. Weird, huh? I think they’re awesome, but they are just Dots, and Glitter. Make me feel special. >_

I agree that it is not normal, but I don’t want them to go away. I’ve thought about it before and I’d truly feel lost without my Dots and Glitter… :(

I used to see colours around people but I blocked that too.. again bad experiences. My parents thought I was kinda crazy or something, they’re very catholic and weren’t very open to anything like that.
You talking about it makes me kind of miss it.. I can see them again if I look at something and kind of relax my eyes.
Do you see colours around people?
I used to be able to tell people’s personalities by the colour I saw.
Someone once told me that I probably just process emotions and things through colours and that’s all it is.. cause I’m quite artistic and see most things in a fairly artistic way. But then to help me understand my brain projects that process onto them or something?
It’s all very confusing.

Maybe its such a serious issue you could loose your sight… I think its worth it to get it looked at.

I see glitter also but mine are red and lime green. It started when I was 5. Prior to this event which I will explain in a bit, my vision was normal. Here is what happened. One night when I was gettin ready to go to sleep with my mom I lay in bed for a bit. Not be able to sleep I just stared at the ceiling. As I’m looking up at nothin but a ceiling, I see 3 spider looking things floating in a line towards the edge of the bed my mom and I were sleeping on. When they landed I sat up and saw that they had turned into neon lime green insect type things. All 3 had what I would describe best as thorns all over there body. No eyes, legs or anything that could help me decipher exactly what I was looking at but they seemed to have been attracted to me. They came towards me and I jumped out of bed startling my mom. She turned on the lamp asking me what was wrong and what the hell I was doing. I explained to her there was something on the bed but when she turned the lamp on they dissappeared. So of course she saw nothin and I looked likes nut. When she turned the lamp off I noticed then that my vision had altered. Not in a bad way or blurry effect but with this glitter type effect. It does not effect me or my sight either. It has always been this way ever since that night. It does not go away. I don’t know why and I don’t know what those things were. It intrigues me to this day.

Not to alarm you, but are you absolutely sure you have no health problems? What you describe sounds unusual and I have never experienced it myself.. I would really suggest consulting an eye specialist or a Neurologist.. just to be on the safe side..

I’m not completely sure, but, something similar happens to me sometimes. For me it is a lack of oxygen. Do you smoke ? Do you exercise ? Have you told a medical professional ? Try deep breathing. I hope this helps.
