piercing help?

ok so a few years back i wanted to get my monroe piercing done (top lip), however when i went to the piercing place the lady said i had a huge vein going right across my top lip, i know this might sound dumb but is there any chance i may be able to have it done now? please help and no stupid answers telling me how disgusting piercings are, i dont care. thanks anyway ! (:

Did she say it was on both sides?
Because the fact is if you’ve a vein where you wanna get a piercing you can never get that piercing. If they pierced it, it could kill you.
Friend of mine had a similar situation when he wanted to get his tongue pierced. He had a vein straight down the middle, so he can never get it done.

Can’t you do it on the other side of the lip? Like on the left side if you were suppose to get it on the right?
