it could be worse, you could be American like me. as Tracey Chapman says, “i’m talkin’ about a revolution (it sounds… like a whisper)” You could dump the fuel in the harbor like we did with the tea. but i wouldn’t recommend it. i’m an environmentalist. maybe you’re starting a revolution by being on this site. As Utah Philips says, “we are all leaders here.” at least you can take comfort in the fact that your European Wal-Marts are unionized and employees get over a month of vacation. Here you get fired if you even think the word union.

ok, well that’s my random rant on revolution. oh, one more tip for your uprising… as Emma Goldman has been credited with saying, “If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution.”
yours in the struggle,
Alanna

revolution is the word!

Its ironic that some politicans these days are going on about democracy and how it should be spread to every country, when the countries that used to have democracies are no long that.

For a democracy all the people need to have a say when deciding an issue. This means being informed of the issue (not misled) and being given the opportunity to vote.

Although people in “democracies” still have a vote they are either given no real choice (american presidential election) or are badly or misinformed (Irish vote on the Nice treaty for Europe a while back).
