personally i don’t blame you, they’re filled with germ killing chemicals though so apparently they’re not germy ( though i don’t believe that)

anyways i’m gonna leave your post alone because i hate swimming pools too!

i think swimming in lakes and oceans is much more enjoyable than swimming in an icky pool. i don’t think you have a problem. however, if your discomfort/fear is interfering with some kind of desire to be in a pool, maybe a good way for you to handle this would be to take a “pool boy” job for the summer. not the kind where you clean them necessarily, but one where you deal with the water chemistry. i think that might help you make a little cash while learning about the effectiveness of chlorine in pool safety. could be fun.

its the fact that i learned that ALOT of people pee in the pool. ALSO if a person has loose or watery stools it leaks out of their butts and that can make others very ill. and giardia can survive chlorine. so im terrified of pools and i used to love to swim. i wish i could get over this fear. but people are so filthy.

well fish **** in the ocean so
just take a shower with dettol or something after being in the pool
by the way i understand you, pools are a little gross ESPECIALLY if people take little kids there
also don’t they put some kind of chemical in the water that if you pee in the pool it turns a different color

I have the opposite fear. I always feel unsafe when the water is deep and murky and JAWS could be underneath you… duh da duh daaa.

Give me a nice clean pool anytime. Preferably Olympic size with a diving area. Oh, and some teenage girls to bring me a towel or drink or whatever it is I need.

Did you drown in a pool in your previous life?
