What would you name your baby if you had a boy or girl?

I was making a joke to this friend a week or so ago and he said i had all those silly common names. So i was like hmm i could find prettier names than that.

What would you name your child. And what is in a name?

I guess what you name your child sometimes influence the person they end up being. But ahh i guess What would you pick?

It’s a strong name, Jackson, and I wanted it for my son so much, but of course his father did not like :( but IF I EVER did have another boy now, it would definitely be Jackson! Likely hood of having another child now though is ‘0′ probably (am 42yrs!)

I’m really conscious of not giving kids names that they can be picked on for at school, and/or which they are going to have to spell all the time. Then there is the sadness of them not being able to get anything with their name on it (ie at novelty shops). I also hate when normal names are spelt weird ways, like adding in a Y or something – this screams bogan!! It might seem cute in playgroup, but your kids wont thank you for it. Employers consider names when hiring for important jobs, so its something to take seriously.

I have two children, Ebony and Jordan, so obviously I like those names. Aside from that, the names I like are:

Girls - Melanie, Olivia, Grace

Boys – Daniel, Benjamin (Ben), William (Will).

Rachel if it’s a girl and Josh if it’s a boy,
the reason for Rachel is because I once loved someone called Rachel a few years back and she seemed to slowly fade out of my life for reasons I don’t know :(.
and the reason for Josh is because he is my best friend and has never judged me, always supported me and has the same interest’s as me.

Yes, I like Chloe too! In fact, I forgot that if my son was a girl, that is what we would have called her. Instead, we used the namefor the baby doll we bought my daughter at the time (best idea ever and she still has that doll 12 years later!).

Ben jammin is what I have been calling him since he was born. Now that his sister has a baby a lot of us are calling him Uncle Ben, cause of the rice and all. He has always called himself Ben at school and all his friends call him that.
