Do you thing engineers are the way of the future over current physicians?

I was thinking about becoming a doctor since more people need doctors. If I ever moved I could get a job anywhere in the USA. But will the need for doctors will ever decrease? I’m worried if becoming a doctor is a bad choice because I feel like the way of the future is “engineering.” Should become an engineer instead?

My father is an engineer so I love engineering myself. I also like the medical field and I want a nice stable job where when I get a family we won’t have financial problems tearing our life apart.

People will always be sick, and new technologies will always need designing lol.

Pick one. Either is as good as the other.

People will always grow old and get sick (at least for the foreseeable future) and they will always want new stuff to play with, so go with either one. With the population growing and getting older, I don’t think health care jobs are going to be disappearing anytime soon. And people will always need stuff to be fixed or created or whatever. I think either one would be great. Do what you love to do.

either is a good choice. people will always be sick and the population is increasing so you’ll have plenty of work but technology will continue to evolove…untill we build robots which will take the work away from doctors(maybe?)lol
