I was i an automobile accident on may 19th 2011 .

So guy ran a red light and flipprd my car. Me and my sister was in the car . They guy was flying down the the road a high speed. He had one wittnes and i had 2 witness. One of wittness i knew her by first name only . I meet her a couple times through a friend. His insurance will not take my claim . Because i knew one of the wittnesses. And the ins. agent stated to me that his one wittness was a over the road truck driver. And knows the lights better..lol..Are you serious..Now my insurance is paying for all my stuff . When they just finally found the other driver at fault. Should’nt his insurance be paying for all this . I was thinking of getting a laywer ,but they said it would cost to much in court fees. And could take years before settled…I am not injuried ..that i know of ..and i think my sister is fine. We had lots of bruises and a wiplash. But never took pictures. My insurance is founders and his was state farm. I am really upset about this and need to know what to do . Should i file a complaint on his insurance ? Or just get a lawyer. Thanks .

Talk to your insurance and try to cooperate with them to get a lawyer, and try to get the other insurance to pay for the legal fees? I dunno. Just talk it over with your insurance.

So, I’m guessing you’re in the US because of the insurance you have. If that’s the case, did he get a ticket? Can you check with your local police department if there was a camera in that area? Obviously, the damage was more than $1,000.00 so if your state laws are like mine, someone had to have received a ticket.

If he got the ticket, you need to go to court. You can tell the judge exactly what happened. They have a lawyer at court whom you can speak to about your case.
