i’m pretty sure you need to have classes in first-aid and safety, cpr and all that good stuff first.. you wont get a job as a lifeguard without it.

i’m not too sure what happens after the classes, but as far as qualifications go, unless they want someone with experience, you should be fine. but just incase i would go and ask about the position and see if there is anything else you would need.

In the united states there are a bunch of very specific certifications you have to pass.
