Heidi heidi heidi, it was merely just a test of this brand new feature that the Help.com Gods have bestowed upon us. Jeff has introduced three new features to help improve the site, I just came up with a quick question just to see how it worked and to show the other users the new feature!

:]Believe me Mama is well looked after, nudge nudge wink wink

(I made a silent edit to your post to remove the “i’m testing” text. Side note, the [b] tags around the poll directive … not the best idea ;D)

Note to others; why is nobody clicking onto the vote thingy?

No, you wrapped the poll in a bold HTML tag set, eg bolded — I just put [b] because the brackets < and > get stripped from comments.

So when you post the code you should not put in the brackets?

You originally posted this:

< b >[poll:stuff]< /b >

(without the spaces around the b and /b )

Don’t include the < b > part, just post like this:

[poll:stuff]

So it should look more like;

< [poll:yourstuff] / >

No, no “” just this:

[poll: option, option, options, etc]

(Polls have unlimited options, by the way, just separate with commas)

the on both ends just makes stuff bold then?
are we not supposed to use the for the Youtube and wiki as well or do we need them there?

Ok, let me try and fix that

You don’t need the < b > tag, because it’s only function is to make text bold. That is the only thing it does. The only thing. Nothing more. Nothing.

you don’t need anything extra… just use the [ and ] with the poll: wiki: and youtube: stuff inbetween. no < no > no /… ok? G’luck :)
