Go to the movies with friends, and hang out.

all 12 year olds always seem to be bored, and you can understand why. Its just a phase. Get her tickets to a game or a concert and allow her to bring friends

mine is 11 and she used to tell me the same thing. she has a friend
that lives about a block away and they get together to do things
every once in awhile. she has electronic games to play and books
to read. but when she tells me she is bored I go through the list
of things she can do and she has started doodling and drawing.
i also have been trying to teach her basic crochet. sometimes she
asks to fix something to eat. she makes a great dish of spaghetti
and homemade sauce. sometimes she does crafts.
