Maybe your just really motivated? listening to music isn’t a bad thing it’s kinda like a hobby isn’t it?
I wouldn’t really say self improvement is a bad thing as long you still enjoy playing.

yeah, that’s what I said..This is what I want todo with my life. I mean I’ve alrady composed some pieces and written some songs. They say I need more friends. I tell them I’m happy just with music. They try and force me to invite my friends places. I never get invited back, and i’m fine just staying all alone with my music, in another world really. I♥music!

Technically, you can get addicted to anything. When you have an addiction, you NEED something. And, there are two types of addictions, physical and emotional. I can get physically addicted to cigarettes, and I can get emotionally addicted to just about anything.

Yes, you can get addicted to music just like you can get addicted to anything else if you let it start controlling or influencing your life.

Well, yeah, you’re probably a little addicted. Do you get really upset if you can’t listen to music? Like frustrated and disoriented and nothing seems right? Do you feel the constant impulse to listen to music even when you shouldn’t be, like in the middle of class. Will you try and listen to it even if it gets you in trouble? Then, I would say most definitely. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, I mean you may want to ask yourself why you feel that way, but better music than heroin! Just tell your parents that next time lol.

If it interferes with you living a life, it might be an addiction. If you can’t function without it, it might be an addiction.

But if neither of those apply, it’s just an obsession, not an addiction. Since it is harmless, you may as well try to use your fixation for a good purpose.

It doesn’t interfere, i mean i can control when i stop. lol but i don’t want to and don’t have to in the summer. It relaxes me and helps me relieve myselg from the trauma i’m going through right now..I mean in school last year i used to be singing randomly like not knowing i was til i wanted to think about somthing.
I couldn’t listen in school because of the harsh restrictions on electronics in class. i would make sure it was in my locker. my friend is the same as me, so when wer’re around each other we exchange new songs. ♥
