friends help: hey, ok here’s the thing my prom is coming up in a couple - Help.com

hey, ok here’s the thing my prom is coming up in a

couple of months and I wasn’t planning on going because I have scars from my elbow to my wrist on my right arm and I can’t find a dress that is formal enough to cover it. My friends don’t know about this and keep telling me to go or asking why I’m not going so I’m trying to find away I could go.
Does anyone know of anywhere that have long dresses but with one arm full length? I have thought about wearing gloves but no one does that so I don’t want to look stupid. I need a dress that looks formal, I think if it had one arm it may look different but maybe in a good way, I don’t know. help?

Well, you *could* wear gloves. That nobody else does it would make you stand out ^^
Having one arm would be an interesting look. Probably you’d want to have other parts of the dress emphasize it as well, perhaps having a flower on that shoulder as well, for example.
But I’m not sure I understand why gloves wouldn’t be a good idea.
