If you even don’t know that the memory (RAM) is always INSIDE of a computer you should NOT tinker yourself!

Maybe the existing RAM has to be REPLACED by a bigger one and cannot be supplemented only by an additional one.
Ask your dealer or a computer repair shop!

A virtual memory is without special risk but never that powerful like a built-in.

RAM = Random Access Memory (RAM)
it’s like processing field. RAM supply most of the data for executing job for Processor. As much fast your RAM be as fast it would supply required data to processor for work done. For getting good speed from a fast RAM you need a equal or high FSB processor.

For running WINDOWS 7 you need at least 512MB of RAM but this 512MB RAM is the minimum requirement of Windows 7 but, you need 1GB RAM for the smooth running of Windows 7. 2GB Recommendation and if you play Game then recommendation is 4GB.

You better give me the model of your Laptop then I can say what is the suitable Bus of your RAM and the size too for the specific jobs.

You have to open your RAM cover for installation of your new and big RAM. Mind it RAM would not help you to make your Laptop fast if your processor is weak and if your laptop has VIRUS.

Thanks
