Are the shows on television starting to get to dumb for children?

I mean the random shows like Tim and Erics Awesome Show, or Saul of the Mole Men? These are just some of the random shows that I have run into while channel surfing. I am not against dumb shows like these and I totally support them, but when I was walking down the street a kid was talking about a line within the show Saul of the Mole Men. The kid didn’t know what a donkey was and he looked like he was atleast 9. I mean….. awkward.

I’m not sure what shows you guys have for kids over there but I certainly think TV are ruining children. I have fond memoriers of great shows as a kid but some even fonder ones of being out and about with my parents taking long walks and games of rounders in the fields close to where we live. My 8 year old cousin never soes that but has a PS2 and an I pod and a mobile phone. Where is his childhood?

Hmm… I know, but I see that children at that age need not to have these things. If it were me kids wouldn’t see television until they could spell it. You know what I mean? Now a days its I want this and that. It was on television so I must have it. What happened to like the fun cartoons like hey arnold or….just arnold? Then you have the parents that think movies that aren’t intended for kids are actually healthy for growing living.
