My name is Sharon.

I am searching for my father. His first name might be Walter and I do not know his last name. He would have lived in Miami Florida during 1977. My mother was cruel and abusive and lied to me about the identy of my father until I was 7 and then when the truth came out she simply said it was not my business. One of my aunts mentioned that around the time she would have become pregnant my mother had been seeing a guy named Walter who was african american with a light complexion. She also believed that he worked as a bus driver for the City of Miami. She also mentioned something about him being a poet or writer of some kind,

I vaguely recall a man of this desctiption comming to visit me at my grandparents house when I was about 5. When my mother found about the visit she reacted violently and threated to take me away if my grandparents allowed me to see him again. I have not heard about him since.

I am not looking to disrupt his life. I would just like to have some answers to questions that have been nagging me for years. I am married, earn a very good living and do not need anything from him. I simply wish to fill in some details about my personal history.
