Helpbot is blocking almost half of my computer screen.

He and his 3 posts recommendation won’t disappear.

It’s on every single post I click on.

Wtf

I was aware of only one kind of helpbot. Is there another kind?

I doubt it’s a virus. It seems more like a glitch than anything.

It’s new. It usually isn’t Helpbot though. It just shows you posts that are related to the one that you are on, in case you are interested. To make it go away, press the - at the top of it, and the + to make it come back. It will still come for every post though. I think it is really annoying, but you get used to just automatically pressing the - every time you go on a post.

I don’t see those symbols. My only option, as it would seem, is to click on the 3 posts that are suggested. It’s very annoying.

Try editing your tags so he isn’t there. For example: if your post is about depression or suicide, edit your tags so none of your tags include the words suicide or depression. If I recall that’ll get rid of him. I know if he’s not there and I type in the tags he will appear but w/o the tags he’s gone. I would think getting rid of the tags that make him appear would get rid of him. It’s worth a try.

windmills changed the tags on this post: they were "disappear, Blocking, computer, screen, Click, post" 1 year, 8 months ago.

Evidently helpbot likes appearing on posts that are entirely unrelated to suicide and depression. Although my tags didn’t contain those two words, I went ahead and edited them anyway to make sure it wasn’t any other words. No luck.

Just to notice: I don’t see any helpbot in this post nor in one of your last five postings.

B.t.w. Did you deleted the cache of your browser?
And try to make a full reset of your browser too. (I do this every day before shooting down the computer in the night.)
