so me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 8 months and he’s the first serious relationship i’ve been in.

but i’ve been thinking its time to break up. like, i love him, but not in a romantic way i think. and sometimes i feel like i want somebody whos more like me. and he has to hide us dating from his parents too
but then i also think I don’t want to end it, because, i’m not sure about it i feel like.
one minute, i’m positive i want to, the next, i feel i’ll never do it
and i know he’d be pretty upset
help?.

It’s hard to breakup with your first love. Try to picture yourself without him and see how that is. I think the problem is that you can’t picture him out of your life which is why you continue the relationship. There is no harm in being friends.

If you’re thinking “What if. . .” With anything to do with the relationship is a good indicator that you should explore more of your options and just end the relationship. I had to hide all of my relationships till I was 19. . .NOT WORTH IT! NOT WORTH IT AT ALL AND WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

If one more guy ever makes me hide from their parents I’ll just dump them on the spot. My life is to short to deal with their stupid inconveniences.

If you’re not in love with him anymore all your doing it dragging it on. Sure he might be hurt, and sure you will hurt when you end it, but don’t we all just live and learn? Don’t wait to fall, just jump.
