I sent a facebook message, but wanted to retrieve it,

I couldn’t find any other way to stop the message from being delivered other than deleting it on my end and blocking the recipient of the message. Will this do the trick?

nope it’s still going to whom you send it, sorry. deleting it from your end just means you won’t have a copy and blocking them won’t allow them to respond back. time to deal.
