my guess is that she wants to have as much control over what happens as she can. id ask the groom and bride what they think, unless you wanted this all to be secret. that way you can see how they feel about it, if they say yes and that lady is still trippin on you, you can say “please refer to bride and groom, seeing as they allowed to me to do so. please hand over your picture before i force you to give them to me!” haha jk bout the quote :]

Make the slide show, but use pictures of deputy dawg, road runner etc, for the son and explain why there aren’t any real pictures.(hehehe)

haha! i tend to have decent ideas, not usually this early in the morning tho. and the quote was for some added spice to it lmfao! :D
but yea surprises are 100% awesome, but would you really want to put all this time into a slideshow just to have it not work out for some reason or another? i think i would ask the bride and groom, cause in the end its their day not the mother in laws ;D

our parents died so it’s just us sisters …. the grooms family is massive..the mother in law invited 30 guests (friends)
my sister does not even know..(she said to my sister..” oh, dont worry i’m paying for the 30 people)
my sister is so soft and kind and she is so scared of what the fancy shmancy family thinks of her that she is oblivious to their awfulness…..
sadly she would agree to everything they say…without knowing it.
she would be devastated if she knew we went through with the slideshow even though the queen bee disapproved
so i’m not sure anymore.. I have a ‘**** you ‘ attitude to what people think but my sister who is getting married cares very much.
