sorry - no cash has ever been given out here - would consider taking ye ex to court and getting the debt moved to her if you can prove it

if you can’t - then take it as a life lesson and move on

another possibility if the debt is too great is declaring bankruptcy

Weren’t married no. Problem is we lived together racked up a lot of debt sorting the house and other such things. Eventually having to get a loan in my fathers name to consolidate and make it a bit more manageable. No chance of getting it moved to her and because the debt is officially in my fathers name bankruptcy isn’t an option just going to have to work my butt off I guess.

Maybe have some boarders to pay you rent?
