You have a lot of anxiety because you eat a lot? Or do you eat a lot because you have too much stress in your life? Your hair may be falling out because of this stress and anxiety, same with the nail biting. Do you have an anxiety disorder? Or is it something that you’ve had for only a short time? Maybe you should see a therapist, and find a doctor that won’t push pills on you. There has to be a solution to this problem. What was wrong with the pills he put you on last time?

Sorry to hear your problems, but I think you first need to address your psychological distress. A great help for me is to read the Bible any of the first four New Testament gospels is very helpful. Medicine in some cases is not the answer, and dr’s are especially inclined to dismiss your symptoms as psychosomatic. You said your eating a lot, if your overweight, you could have type II diabetes. If your young, it could be something else. If you smoke or drink you should stop, both are irritants to the cells in the body. However, be very cautious when allowing dr’s to perform any invasive diagnostic tests, as many could make problems worse, ie lumbar puncture, myelogram, etc. I would look up any procedure extensively on the net before submitting. Hope that helps…

As a med student, don’t you have access to medical resources and advise from fellow med students? As a med student, don’t you see the advantage of seeing a physician and telling him that you prefer homeopathic remedies if they are applicable to your condition?

Well, IF you ever get into a situation where you really feel like you cannot stop eating too much as an escape, then overeaters anonymous could probably help.

I dont think you are in that situation, but I thought I would mention it just in case. Good luck with the whole thing. I wish the very best for you.

Thats a little odd the little things he would do. Don’t just flat-out stop talking to him because then he’ll think something is up-and he’ll never leave you alone. Just say shorts, walk past “Hey (so and so)” or “hows it goin?” and go on your way. Don’t try and go out of your way to gain closeness to him in a friendship manner, he may think otherwise. Since he hasn’t brought up his marriage.

Camilita, I know men are hard to let go. Love is like that. You will someday find the one that is for you. All the rest are practise rounds. Hurting is part of growing.
