The best thing to do to improve your English is to do a lot of reading. Find a topic you know a bit about and read as much about it in English as you can. Or a book or story you know really well in your own language and read that in English…It’ll help, but most websites to improve a language skill costs money :(

The British Council produce some very good podcasts and other material to help you with your English language studies.

It’s probably because their english isn’t very good. I’m a native english speaker and I find some native english speakers hard to understand. Even when they type I sometimes have trouble!
