dream or money?

I hate my job from the bottom of my heart… i am in engineering but i dont think i am born to work as an engineer and design houses… I love nutrition and exercise… i have spent so many years studying engineering and now working in a good company with a decent salary… too scared to leave this job but getting up every morning thinking i am doing something that i am not born for makes me really depressed. My husband does tell me that i could quit and start studying some short courses in nutrition form home.. but im worried that i might get bored by being at home all day.. plus having a montlhy income from my side helps run the family.. if i quit things will get little difficult financially.. shall i choose money or my dream?

Why can’t you take short courses and continue working as an engineer until you finish the requirements?

i have enrolled myself in this course.. this course is just a short course which means getting a job is really hard even after i do the course.. so i will have to set up a business and my work requirements are so intense.. hardly get anytime to focus on my course and business..
plus i am getting so depressed by this job.. sometimes i even feel like killing myself rather than waking up another day to go to work…

Go for your dream, but don’t quit your job right away. Keep your job, and study the short courses in your spare time. When you know enough, it’s time to search for your dream job. :)

every one have been saying this… i guess you are right.. but i was thinking of quitting this job having a baby and studying and researching on businesses while raising the baby… dont know how easy that would be.. as i dont have any babies i might be too ambitious.. studying and looking after the baby..

That might work out. If you actually want a child of course :P
That way you won’t get bored sitting at home. You will be looking after your baby, and when the baby is sleeping and stuff you can study!

Theres no need to feel guilty for staying at home for a little while to follow your dream! I’m sure your husband understands what your dream means to you.

Why do you feel you have to have a baby at some point?
