Mods/Admin respond to reported posts mostly. Chat is a feature that would take revenue to run that HELP simply does not have: Overall opinion seems to favor no-advertisement over chat features.
Notifications generally spam and confuse people (although personally I would like this feature back….)
I knew a day when mods were active members in the help community, not only responding to flagged posts, but answering posts too. Chat was a brilliant feature, I loved chatting to fellow helpers. But I suppose that the lack of constant mods means that it simply cannot be run any more.
I loved having notifs for tagged posts, saves wading through lots of posts which I cannot assist on.
It has changed so very much.
The notifications of posts you have already replied on still exists. You can unsubscribe from any post you want to.

Yes they were, I had a lot of posts from when I was in a dark dark time, and having got over those times I hated them lingering over me. And as you would know, help will not delete posts or profiles by request, so in order to remove myself from this site, I posted obscene images - which although offensive, removed me. I came back in time, a better person, as such I am now :)

Found another old post. You said you started smoking at age 12. I’m not here to judge you. I just like bumping into oldtimers so I can look back on the history of Help. I wish more would come back like you did. I hope even though we have changed that the new Help grows on you and you stay for a long time.
I love being back here, although a lot has changed, the sentiment of helping others still stands :) I just wished that a few others who I knew were still here. Having said that, the ones who I were very close to I still speak to very often on Facebook and Twitter.
Sad however, that I have lost friends on here too, through depression and taking their own lives. Very upsetting and much further instils the need to help people.
By chance is Queen Elizatron 4000 on that list? I really do miss her.

Hi SazzleJazzle. Welcome back to Help. Yes, I know, it isn’t much like it used to be. I miss a lot of the features we were privileged enough to enjoy, a few years back. I’ve been here so long, I feel like a dinosaur! Help was fun when I first found the website. Replies on posts used to auto-scroll and we used to be able to post images in replies back then. But… well.. that’s just a thing of the past…
If you need help finding any one of your old Help buddies, let me know. They might be on my friends list. :)
