I’m a 20 year old guy.

I’ve never had a girlfriend and i’ve never had sex. I don’t really see it as being a big deal but this is the point where everyone one of my friends is bothering me about it. I mean sure it would be nice to have somebody there but i don’t really see it as a need. It is getting to the point where they are asking me if i am gay which i’m not. I just honestly think about what i want to do with my future before i think about having sex which i do think of too. i’ve even thought of just hooking up with someone just to shut them up and then go back to normal. i just need opinions on this situations.

Ok, guy.

I know how you feel. I use to be in your boat, although I was with a girl when I was 19.

Here’s the thing:
In order to meet girls you need to go where they go which is basically everywhere BUT your house. Best option is to sign for some kind of classes depending on what you might enjoy doing. Drawing, climbing, yoga, whatever. No matter where you go, you will meet girls and you’ll have plenty of time to get to know them and relate.

Apart from that - yeah, I think its absolutely normal to be a virgin at 20. I have a colleague who turned 22 this year and he just met a girl who he had a thing with.
Its not the age that is important.

just laugh it off. you’ve kept your self-respect & pride so far which is admirable considering the majority of guys your age that are way too insecure when it comes to these things. it seems like you’ve got a really strong character so just ignore all they’re idiotic comments & they’ll tire out eventually.

Don’t hook up with someone just to shut them up. Really honestly don’t do it. If you wanna have sex with someone, then go for it, but if you’re just doing it for your friends, that’s just silly. Tell them to go jump in a lake. I was 20 before I met someone I wanted to have sex with; it doesn’t matter in the slightest. You can wait just as long as you want to.
