I live under a waterbomb!

Our life is in danger.Every moment, we live expecting the worst because of the poor old dam in the hills of mullaperiyar.The da’w'n dam which was built in 1890s by the british govt to divert water from the river periyar to the neighbour state tamilnadu has cracks everywhere.Tamil Nadu govt is against the idea of building the new dam, which if done would keep everyone safe.Studies by experts say the dam would not be able to withstand quakes above magnitude 6.

Last week, a quake of magnitude 3 hit the region and this has added panic and worries to everyone’s heart.Everywhere people are talking this dam, excited/worried about what would happen if it breaks.The media too is going frenzy about this to make the government build the new dam.People say that if disaster happens, it would wash away two districts to the arabian sea, but I find it too fancy to be real..

Our life is in the hands of politicians, literally we’re living under a water bomb…

A magnitude 6 earthquake will almost always cause billions of dollars worth of damage and extreme loss of life. If you are that scared move. None of the world’s governments have money for infrastructure because they have spent it all on themselves and their friends and lobbyists…

12.6 % of the people who live in Washington D.C. are millionaires. Gee I wonder where all of our tax dollars go? I know you are not in the US but government corruption has a lot to do with your problem.
