But what made the Big Bang?

hmm… i will and i tell ya!
There are many theories as to what created the Big Bang itself; the current truth being is that we just don’t know.
Though yes, with the current evidence we have the Big Bang did indeed create the matter necessary for stars to form, and our solar system came to be from the formation of the Sun’s ejected matter as it ignited.
How could a big bang make anything?

celthe, the idea is that all of the matter of the universe was condensed into one point called a singularity. A chain of events caused the singularity to fly apart, forcefully ejecting all of it’s contents into the space around it, thus generating our universe.
The events leading up to the singularity cannot yet be explained, as the currently observed physical laws (time, the four fundamental forces of nature) that control the order and entropy of this universe did not exist until just after the Big Bang event.
I know the idea. I have a BSc. Just don’t buy it, that’s all.
Well, we’re all ears to any other better ideas (that have plausible evidence).
What do we know of that can make matter come into existence from nothing? With the creation of time and matter the natural laws of the universe also came into existence.
I think you already know what I believe. How could things come from nothing or life come from non-life as we know, according to the natural laws of Science that can’t happen? God created matter, life and all the natural laws of Science within which we exist.
Using “god” as a starting point leads to completely circular reasoning, and is basically an intellectual cop-out in the study of things. Applying the word ‘god’ to explain what you do not understand due to the limits of current research just isn’t logical. What created your god? If nothing can come out of nothing, where does this god come from to begin everything?
As with all things, it takes time, patience and persistence to further reasoning and understanding. What science cannot explain today might very well be proven tomorrow or one hundred years from now. Capping these ideas with the end-all ‘god’ just stops thinking and stops the very questioning of our origins, an attempt to stop or completely regress our mentality rather than progressing new ideas.
I know God.
When I look at nature, even down to molecules and atoms, and I see something designed. Something beautifully crafted by my God.
You know your interpretation of god. There’s no empirical proof that you can share amongst others that allows objective belief in what you call god, therefore it’s not a logical basis for this level of understanding.
Experience is proof enough for me!
Good for you, but not for others you are trying to convince.
