G.M.

doesn’t back up there cars. I have 40,000 miles and already have had to replace the race and pinion. Told
the buick dealer I have a problem with the front end. I hear a humming in the frontI took it back a couple of times . The dealer said it was road or tire noise. I drove to Florida , had my oil changed. They noticed oil in the boots of the rack and pinion. Made the repair , paid to have it fixed.problem. solve. Wonderful GM told the cannot reimburse me because I took it to a private garage. I originally took it to them. Now they say your out of warranty. Nice company. that,s it for me to ever suggest or buy another GM product. Oh buy the way I retired from the company. So all my family don’t ask me for a referral.

Oh, I know! GM is crazy. I had a Pontiac with 62,000 miles on it, and had to replace the marathon and the entire bird quill. I took it to the dealer, and told them that there was a problem with the inertial dampeners and that something in the engine was making a noise kinda like a dog whistle. They claimed that they couldn’t hear it, so I had to take it to a private sector garage. They did a great job on the repairs, but I had to change my US Dollars over to Vana’dielian Gil. The pontiac works better now, but it still squawks and makes a “KWEH!” noise whenever I hit a pot hole.

GM wouldn’t reimburse me for it, either. That makes me so mad! It’s almost as bad as the time I was reading on the side of the Beef Ravioli can, and it said “Each can contains a healthy serving of vegetables.” I was so angry! Oh, the humanity! I’d been tricked into eating vegetables! That sunuvabitch Chef Boyardee is gonna pay!

Ask to speak to a GM district representative.

Yes, GM has been famous for saying stupid stuff like, “All models of this car do that,” and “We don’t consider that to be a defect.” I believe that it was GM trucks affected by the piston scuffing some years ago . . . the engines would wear out prematurely.

A rack and pinion system shouldn’t go out in 40,000 miles, unless you were driving your vehicle in the Baja road rally! And it looks like they didn’t do the repair right. Talk to a district rep, and keep going up the chain until they get tired and do something for you!
