When you were diagnosed with hives, did the doctor know the cause?

Are you using a topical antihistamine or tablets?

You need to find out the source of the hives.
Your comming in contact with something. My Mom once sat in woven deck chair
and broke out in hives.I traced it to the sunlight stabilizer chemical
in the fabric. So be suspicious of everything.Elimanate one at a time.
New foods you are eating?
New clothes?
New bedding?

Especially think back to eleven weeks ago and see what new things you
have contact with.
New after shave?

Spiratec is on the right track here. Hives are allergy related UNLESS they are actually shingles instead of hives.

I hadn’t thought of shingles.Wouldn’t there be a degree of pain with that?

Usually but not always. I just find it strange that any professional would say that hives are not caused by an allergy and can’t think of anything else it could be.

I think its the poster who thinks he/she dosn’t have any allergies.
They have to think again on that one.
