If you just stop doing things for him, will someone else do it, or will he be forced to take responsibility for his own life then?
He needs to pack an overnight bag and go to the military recruiters.
Now, if he comes up with garbage like, “I don’t wanna take no orders from anybody else,” or “I don’t believe in violence,” or some other such tripe, then tell Mr. Prissy Pants he’s completely on his own!
That’s also what I thought- Army!
I’m wondering…Is he too old to join now?

Oh right - Ta.
Hmm…might be just what the OP’s son needs then…perhaps something she can suggest?
Yes! Again, if he is to prissy to be in the military, then he should get no more sympathy.
The military is still hiring. A young person without a job is a fool to turn it down!
