Remember The Poor
My brothers, my sisters.
Happiness lies in oneself and only you can describe it to yourself.
Whoever seeks all knowledge from the outside will find a dead corpse.
If self despair and self sorrow is not a deadly sin? Then what is?
Do you seek pity? What of life do you think you have seen?
We stand in melancholy for reasons not even shallow.
Your hair is not falling right?
You have some extra weight on?
You have a broken heart?
Let me inform you.
Your hair is going to fall.
Your body is going to wobble.
You will have a broken heart.
To build your happiness on the reverse of those facts.
Is to be ignorant of the inevitable.
I’d say, open your eyes.
And realize how lucky you truly are.
And how each non-special moment is special.
Do you realize how lucky you are to read this?
Some have never came to see words, color, rainbows, animals, the world, or your beautiful face.
Some never heard a sound.
Imagine how silent is their world!
Remember your first word.
Your first sentence.
Your first expression.
Your first shout.
Your first laughter.
Your first song in the shower.
Your first ‘I love you’.
Well there are people who never spoke a tune.
We walk unappreciative of our feet.
That holds us straight up.
And makes jogging and climbing possible.
Have you ever tried to walk on one leg?
You wont go far, trust me.
A single hand can’t clap.
A single hand can’t hug.
What of sorrow do you truly know?
People on a wheel.
A person that is a prisoner of his own body.
A sentence with no release date.
Have you ever been hungry and didn’t find food?
Have you ever not eaten for a day or two?
What of hunger do you know?
You shale not know, of the hunger I talk off.
The hunger that takes away lonely children from this cruel and unfair world.
How beautiful is the sea?
How amazing is to swim in it?
How vast and endless.
Have you ever wondered how come there are so much water in this world.
Yet people are dying of thirst.
But what do you know of such absent?
Have you ever been so cold but couldn’t find cloth to warm you.
Have you ever stood under the rain and realized the harshness of the rain.
Have you ever been struck by a storm and couldn’t find shelter.
What of numbness and feebleness do you know?
I do not ask of you to save the world.
I ask of you to stand strong, be happy and remain true to yourself.
Be content with whatever you have.
For there are far too many people who don’t have half of what you have.
Remember the less fortunate for they are poor.
You — You are rich.
When clouded by despair.
Remember — Remember The Poor.
