I’m thinking of having laparascopy and I’d like to

know if anyone has had it and if when you are able to return home next day, is the pain and recovery long?

You are thinking of having a laparascopy? To the best of my knowledge, that is not an elective procedure. Laparascopies are usually done when they need to perform surgery on an area (like your abdomen) but feel that it is not necessary to do invasive surgery to accomplish what needs to be done.

It’s for birth control right? I am anemic once a month so I’m looking to stop my cycle..

It’s used for all sorts of things. When I had one done it was to remove my gallbladder. But if you are looking at birth control methods I would consider the depo shot. That’s what I use and it works well for me.

Also, the procedure you are talking a/b is having your tubes tied which means you would not be able to have kids and I’m not sure that it would have any effect on your period one way or the other.

I can’t have kids but I don’t want them anyway.
