Anyone remember me?
Hi all! Seems so long since I’ve been here and everyone has different pics!
I’ve been so busy with a full time job and also doing my degree in a subject I adore…and it all started with Help.com. I joined here Feb 2011 still in deep mourning following the death of my mother, no job, family relations tense and to be honest…no hope really. People here gave me the confidence to pick myself back up and keep striving for something better…it was also here I seen someone mention about doing a part time degree. I’ve also made a few amazing friends who are continuing the journey with me.
So what I really wanted to say….is THANK YOU. To those who post and think that their words won’t help…they do. To those who take time out of their day to respond to a stranger and to those who feel they can’t help but offer words of encouragement…it all means so much.
To anyone new to this site…give it a chance, this is a great community and I’m so glad I joined at my lowest point…oh and I’ll try to visit more often!!

Hi 30thriving! I am newish around here and find your warm words very encouraging and sincere. You seem to have a big heart and a zest for life. I am glad you are making progress. What you have been through is hard, and you may not yet be where you would like to be but hang in there darling. Your inner strength will pull you through. Remember you are not where you used to be so things can only get better. And I wish you you exactly that! (((Hug!)))
I can’t say I remember you 30 thriving, but I was kind of distracted from the site by uni in February. Going through something similar now with my own mother having recently passed away it is encouraging for me to hear how things have now improved for you.
I’ve been on this site for a number of years now, albeit intermittently, and I agree that their is a good community on here, particularly when you need support.
Thanks guys.
I am so glad you overcome of your grief and found help here. Welcome back and Happy New Year!
Welcome back, I am pleased all is well with you.
I don’t remember you seeing you before.
I’m Dæmon but you can call me panda. Nice to meet you :3
Ah hello EarthGoddess! :) Loving the new name and how lovely to see you again!
Hiya Moonlightsupper…yep things are by no means perfect but getting there which is fantastic from where I was this time last year. How are you finding it here? :)
Hello to you too Chunkymoves! :)
Hi Agent Smith. I am so sorry to hear about your mother, you have my deepest sympathies. I took my mothers passing very hard and honestly could not see a way past it. The grieving process can be long but it is necessary to come out the other side of it. Someone told me on here – don’t cry because they’re gone, smile because you knew them. And that is the best advice I can give you – remember her warmly and think about the good times and try not to dwell on the reasons she was taken from you. It doesn’t get easier living without a loved one but it does get bearable – I promise. If I can help anymore or you want to chat feel free to shout to me xx
Hi Dyal, Beatricegalant and fatb.two nice to see you guys again! :D
Hello Panda, pleasure to meet you too!! :D
Thanks for the invite FB/EG. :-)
No, I don’t think I knew you, but I’d be happy to interact with you.
You seem to be one who has learned a lot in life by pain. I suppose (presume) you place a lot of importance on relationships and the non-tangibles.
AND I’m very happy to read you were helped and you’re encouraging people to keep being good and support each other.
Very happy to read your post words.
Take care.
And all the best in your vocation/course and life.

Of we remember you. Nice to see you back for a while.
Some of your posts and name sounds familiar, but I’ve seen so many friends leave and I have a bad memory. My hard drive is full…lol.

Same ^^ I don’t recall helping you, but I do remember your name. Congratulations on improving your life. =)
It’s something we forget on this website a lot, but all any of us can do to help another person is give them the encouragement and advice they need. The rest is all up to them, so well done ^^
