Suspended from school.

For 12 days. Obviously, my teachers are notified of my suspension, but will they be informed of the reason for my suspension? I’m in the Halton region in Ontario if that helps.

Does it really matter? If they don’t learn of the reason why, what they imagine in their mind will be far worse than the truth.

I’m curious though… What DID you do?
I promise not to tell.

You haven’t stated what you were suspended for but I hope you use these 12 days to reflect on what you have done and how your life is moving right now. I hope you decide to work on being a better student as how you behave with teachers and how they respond to you can mirror what happens in adult life i.e. suspension is one step away from being expelled i.e. sacked.

Being suspended isn’t something to be proud of. I would use this time to really think of how I am going to prove to my teachers, parents, friends etc. that I want to change. Organise doing some studies and ask your parents to make sure you are given work to do whilst you are of. When you speak to your friends, ask them if you can look at their notes so you keep in touch.

Good luck for when you return.
