Today, January 11th, 2012, a 7 year old girl was attacked by her neighbor’s pit bull.

A girl(friend) I just met this morning on facebook, had posted up two pictures of her baby sister. The pictures were taken by the father while the baby sister was in the ER. This was the saddest thing. The girl barely survived the attack. Never I felt so bad and sorry since the beginning of this year. The girl and I were getting to know eachother. We sent msg back and forth to eachother and all of a sudden she took a while to reply. A few hours later she told me she just got back from the ER. That got me wondering. She had uploaded the photos. She said things that made herself feel bad, things like “she wasn’t there” and “I should have been a better sister”. For me I felt it deep inside, felt like I just died for a moment. Later on, I found out that it happened for a purpose. The family were having bad dreams the last few weeks, about something bad is going to happened and it did(religious thing). Tonight, the baby sister fights for her life and I will keep praying til she recovers. I hope that tonight God will listen to my/the families prayers. And about the pitbull and it’s owner, I hope that the dog will be put to rest, and the owner will be sued and WILL pay for what he have done.

dog attacked a child, animals and humans have always had an uncertain relationship after all no person can speak dog?
I hope your friend gets better soon though and the dog gets a new home with a competent human that knows how to raise dogs.

For that reason the keeping of fighting dog breeds should be subject to permit — as it is in our country. Owner of dogs of such breeds have to pass a special examination.

I think they should put the OWNER to rest not the animal.

I had a pitbull ever since I was a baby, it was like my nanny so to say, I would sleep with her and walk around the house with her and play outside with her, she died when I was 14.

It’s really the owners fault, dogs are only mean if taught to be.

The girl was playing outside her house. While the attack, the owner stands there doing nothing. Another man,54 was also attack by the same pit bull because he tried to help the little girl. He legs and arms had big bite marks. Sighs….
